AMLC Scientific Meetings

The AMLC hosts biennial scientific meetings for researchers and students from around the Caribbean to share their work. Scientific meetings are hosted by institutional members and have taken place in various locations in the Caribbean, Central and South America, and the Southeastern United States. These meetings are a great way for Caribbean researchers to come together, learn about current research, and make connections with other individual and institutional members. The AMLC also sponsors travel awards which students can apply for to travel to scientific meetings. More information about past meetings and our upcoming scientific meeting can be found below.

Sponsorship Opportunities

The AMLC pursues sponsorship for meetings as a means of generating non-dues and non-registration revenue to help support the costs of the meetings, in order to keep the registration fees as low as possible for Caribbean Scientists and Students. The AMLC offers meeting and other sponsorships to organizations whose products or services support the mission of the AMLC, provide information for its members, and/or enhance the objectives of the meeting.
